- London Mint mit Veränderungen
Das britische CGS-Franchise London Mint gab eine Veränderung im Lineup bekannt, das berichtete die Seite cadred.org vor wenigen Stunden. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass der Spieler url zur Zeit keinen regelmäßigen Internetzugang besitzt, musste sichergestellt werden, dass man zu anstehenden Begegnungen immer fünf Spieler stellen kann. Deshalb wird mx, welcher von Fragmasters TOXIC kommt, url in den kommenden Spielen vertreten. Dieser hingegen ist jedoch weiterhin Teil des Teams, weshalb derzeit ein 6-Mann-Lineup steht. Bis zur i35-Lan soll die Vertragsunterzeichnung, welche den Wechsel von mx dann komplett macht, abgeschlossen sein.

* Update:
Wie soeben bekannt wurde, wird die Vertragsunterzeichnung zwischen London Mint und mx nicht vollzogen. url wird auf der i35 auflaufen und somit weiterhin aktiv spielen.

Statement von Mint-GM Ben Woodward:
"This has all happened a bit thick and fast; I’m trying to get my bearings. The team came to a decision last week that it was becoming increasingly frustrating playing with Tom, coupled with the fact he has no playable internet at university which really didn’t help. I informed CGS of this and said I had a replacement ready to be moved into my taxi squad, but I’d follow it up with them on Monday.

Since then until now it’s just been hectic, as expected in these situations. I’m liaising with CGS in order to get Mx into the team as soon as possible but i stressed to my guys these things usually take weeks to sort, not days.

As it stands i35 hangs in the balance as i’m unsure of whether this will be sorted before i35, bringing a Taxi player in is a lengthy process and obviously with i35 being this Friday time isn’t really on our side, but we knew this. I’m personally focusing on the PRO-AM which all being well should expand to Europe in the coming months; this will help us focus on CGS rule CSS for the ‘09 season.
