“First of all I wanna say thanks to the guys and Harry, who have made the need of gaming almost every evening for more than one year for the purpose of practice less torture than it sounds like and our more than great offline experiences.
Most have noticed that I have stopped playing recently and it is simply because I felt the need for a change in my life. I was not happy with gaming anymore – simply too much in the evening and afterall there is not really a day in the week where you are off. The competition doesn’t stop either, you know. I felt like there was no better time to quit to make it as easy to the team as possible than the long months they have to prepare for the Season 3 qualifiers now and Campus Party Berlin was a great farewell where I could even Draven it up on stage 🙂
I’m going to a place I learned to love (Thank you Raidcall) to study a language I really want to learn and this includes having to stop playing LoL (atleast in Europe – will still have some fun on the SEA servers :P) with the team.
I want to thank all the special people: Lauri „HEY!“ Happonen, Enrique „Cojones“ Martinez, Maciej „laaaaaamiiiiii“ Ratuszniak, Peter „Captain Obvious: You can’t even read that!“ Meisrimel, Max „MagicFingersFnaticFingersbutafteralljustaFART and the darkest of…“ Dreysse, Harry „My Annie“ Wigget, Paul „Soazzuuuuu“ Boyer, Chris „pressure“ Seitz, also, Arthur „Karthus… ehh, Arthus..“ Sun and my biggest fan and bro: my bro! Also thanks to the whole Fnatic team and management who have been a great support to us and a relly caring organization all the way.
See you in Taiwan :)“

+ Statement von Lauri ‚Cyanide‘ Happonen:

“I’m very sad to see Lamia leave, but this time comes to all of us eventually, you can’t be a pro-gamer forever. Lamia decided that it’s his time to quit as he doesn’t want to invest the time anymore in the future. I respect him for realising it beforehand and he never started to drag us down by underperforming because he was uneager to play. He is one of my oldest teammates with xPeke and I love him, but I always knew he wasn’t a total nerd like the rest of us. I’m sad, but also happy to see that he is moving on to a brighter future.“

+ Statement von Enrique ‚xPeke‘ Cedeño Martínez:

“I’m sorry for the decision of Manuel retiring and leaving our new lineup without an AD player for the upcoming season. It’s really sad to see good friend leaving but I will not forget the good moments we had and all the travels we did together. I’m sure this decision is the best for him, atleast he will be happy doing what he always wanted to do and he will also have the memories of this almost 2 years together, atleast I wont forget them.“

+ Statement von Christoph ’nRated‘ Seitz:

“When I played the first times with Fnatic, I thought I already knew the guys I’ll play with, but I was wrong. After sometime offline, u really get to know eachother and I can say that Manuel is definitly one of the nicest people I had the pleasure to play with. He showed not only his professionalism when it came to the events, but also his normal side as soon as we were only with the team.
So I sadly have to say goodbye to a great player but also which is a lot harder, to a good friend of mine. I wish you the best of luck and health for your life and we will stay in contact.“

+ Statement von Harry ‚hxd‘ Wigget:

“You don’t get an easier player to manage than Manuel. So laid back, professional and most importantly, great on camera. He has done such a great job representing the team and we are going to miss him very much. I have so many great memories with Manuel, he’s a good friend to us all. Manuel, I wish you the best of luck in Taiwan. Hope to see you once again in the future.“

+ Statement von Peter ‚Mellisan‘ Meisrimel:

“Personally it’s not a big suprise for me to see my favourite AD Carry Lamia making this step, for I have known him long enough, but also because he mentioned something in these terms about the time, when I decided to stop.
It’s litte sad to see the old squad slowly getting breaking off, but it seems natural that people move on with their lifes at some point and I hope the rest will find a worthy replacement.
But the fact he is moving to Taiwan is actually quite a suprise for me, but I’m confident that he will find his way, as he always seemed like a person that can have sucess at anything in life, if he wants to.
In this terms I wish you best of luck and I won’t forget the awesome time we had together in LoL and the numerous times we met outside the game.“

+ Statement von Maciej ‚Shushei‘ Ratuszniak:

“Fnatic is not only a team of random guys who can play a game, it’s a group of friends who stick together even if they dont play together anymore. I have met with the guys during Gamescom and had a pleasure time again with them. Though they’re only gonna be two out of the five founding members there I wish both Lamia, Peke and Cyanide a good life in whatever decisions they make. (Lamia send my regards to Angela) Cheers ! (I would never see it coming!)“
