Xizt: „Obviously, it hasn’t been going too good at the last two events. I don’t know why we are struggling in the groupstage, once we get to the brackets we play it with a lot more confidence. So I think it is mostly like mental issues that we are tracing.“
readmore: With brollan being one of the youngest players in the professional scene, what parts of the game are you focusing on when it comes to his development as a professional player?
Xizt: „Everyone is trying to help him as much as possible with how to play at the tier one CS. But I also think that he is bringing in a lot of energy and a new view of CS for the rest of us as well. So I am looking forward to seeing how he develops and we are doing our best to help him become one of the best players in world. Which I think he has the potential to be.“
readmore: There has been a lot of criticism towards the seeding and tournament format at ESL events lately. What do you think about the format, seeding and way it is played out?
Xizt: „I mean it has always been like this when you have region-based tournaments. There will always be regions that are weaker than others, so maybe somehow you can make their seed less worth then the ones of more stacked regions. I like this format that ESL and DreamHack has brought forward in the last year or so. I think it is good and it usually gets the best teams to the playoffs, so I like it.“
readmore: What are your opinions on the most recent update on the AUG? Is the gun now balanced or is there still some work to do?
Xizt: „I haven’t had time to play with the AUG but from what I read and from what I’ve seen I think it is good that they nerfed it. I think the AUG was really good the last month or so. I has changed the game completely, some teams that weren’t as good before became much better when everybody started playing AUG. I think [the nerf] was needed.“
