Nach StarCraft II, League of Legends und Heroes of the Storm macht Team Acer jetzt den ersten Schritt in Counter Strike: Global Offensive.
Team Acer and Acer were observing the CS scene for nearly a year now. With ESL One at gamescom 2014 happening only 15 metres away from our booth, we could feel the passion for professional Counter-Strike being reborn in the whole eSports community. We think Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is one of the most fun and exciting games to watch and will be able to reach even higher viewing numbers in 2015 than it had last year. The guys we found now fit our philosophy and the existing setup of Team Acer 100%. I am exited and proud to welcome them to our team.
+ Statement von Frej ‚kHRYSTAL‘ Sjöström
I first of all want to say that this is AMAZING! The guys and I have been waiting for this moment for a long time, it’s a huge relief to finally go official. By joining Team Acer it feels like we really can focus on our game instead of things surrounding it. It’s soon time for us to show the community what we really can do, but we got a few things yet to fix. Luckily we’ve got a month until our first offline appearance, so we should be all set by then.
I personally like to thank Team Acer for taking a leap of faith. I know this team hasn’t shown anything yet, but I feel that we have huge potential to make anything happen. You won’t regret it.
+ Statement von Jerry ‚vetic‘ Fors
“I am very happy to be part of a strong organisation like Acer. Both me and the team are extremely happy with the opportunity Acer provided us and it’s an honour to be part of Team Acer. This is a new begin for us, as team and our goal for 2015 is to earn our spot amongst the top teams. It might take time, but we know we are a strong team capable of achieving anything. Our first offline event will be Copenhagen Games which takes place 1-5 April and the offline tournament Esport SM, which takes place in Stockholm on 31 may with many Swedish top teams attending. You can also expect to see us play many online qualifiers, cups and so on. Make sure to cheer for us as we are ready to GO!“
