readmore: The core of this team has reached the final at the PGL Major Krakow, what has changed since then? Why do you think is it harder for you nowadays to be one of the best teams in Counter-Strike?
NEKIZ: „Most likely because the team was more prepared back in the days. The CS compared to today was very different since you have a lot of teams that are not in the top tier right now. Probably because of that and they played a lot since then. They played in other teams, they are back to the same core and we are now trying to improve.“
readmore: We recently saw FURIA taking over the number one spot in Brazil. What do you think about the Brazilian scene as whole at its current state?
NEKIZ: „In my opinion it is improving a lot since there is a lot of orgs like putting money on Brazilian csgo. So I think that makes the teams improve a lot, the players feel like they are in a profession. So that’s why I think FURIA got a good run right now. So I think it because of the investment into the Brazilian scene.“
readmore: We have seen a lot of young and talented teams from brazil over last year or so, do you think it has become easier to become a professional team?
NEKIZ: „Yes for sure. As I said the orgs are putting more money in Brazil so people really want to be a good team, they really want to be professional and they are improving a lot. They are like working 24 hours per day, because FURIA when they were there were, if I’m not wrong, were in a gaming house together. Two, three years ago we didn’t have things like that in Brazil, I played there for a long time and now it is so huge. It is not easier now, but the teams are more close to each other and the team that does a little bit more gets better.“
readmore: The core lineup of MiBR has always been at the top of Brazilian CS, what do you think MiBR is missing at the moment to be a Top3 team?
NEKIZ: „I think there are a lot of problems that we don’t know, something inside the team. That’s the only reason they are not doing well lately, but since I know fer, FalleN, cold, TACO, felps; they are so good I think in months they will be going back to good CS. There is something inside that is not fixed, but in my opinion they will fix it.“
readmore: You recently failed to qualify to the NA Minor, what are your teams plans and expectations for the next few weeks and events?
NEKIZ: „Since the core of our team were so good and went to the major final, I think we need to fix a lot of things inside the game. Probably also some things outside the game in the team to improve for the next Minor. We really want to go to the Minor, want to go to the Major. That was our main goal, but we need to work on a lot of things inside the team and in my opinion we will fix it.“
readmore: There was news going around just a few hours ago about MiBR approaching your teammate LUCAS1. Is there anything going on?
NEKIZ: „If there is something, I don’t know it. I don’t think there is something going on, but who knows?“
